FUNCTION: Transportation Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Manager Health & AI

LOCATION: Norsvin USA headquarters, Rochester, Minnesota

FUNCTION SUMMARY:
Coordinates transportation and delivery of livestock and breeding stock, maintaining detailed documentation and communication with customers, sales representatives, accounting department, production sites and transport contractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Schedule livestock transportation from breeding stock production sites to customers’ farm locations

·  Accurately prepare all required documentation for distribution/communication of information to appropriate parties, including customers

·  Coordinate with accounting department to ensure accurate invoicing of customers

·  Maintain and report breeding stock availability to sales lead and administration

·  Additional related and unrelated tasks and responsibilities as requested

This position requires knowledge and use of the internet, Excel spreadsheets and significant telephone and written communication with staff and customers.

Education/Skill/Experience requirements:

·  Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

·  Self-motivated and solution oriented personality

·  College degree preferred

·  Minimum 2 years experience with swine production

·  Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, Word
